Girls' Day Out Show - PSP’s latest foray into the world of events came with the 2009 Girls' Day Out Show, which took place at the Scottish Exhibition & Conference Centre in Glasgow over three days in October.
Buoyed by nationwide media and advertising campaigns, the show, presented in tandem by No.1 Magazine, The Daily Record newspaper and Clyde 1 radio station, the expectations were high, as ladies and girls from all over the country prepared for an experience like the country has never seen – and they weren’t to be disappointed.
The event was an immediate success, selling out to over 15,000 who came to marvel at all that was on offer from hundreds of exhibitors. From facials to fashion, fine dining to fake tan, every aspect of modern life for the modern woman was catered for, and there wasn’t a single person to be seen leaving without a few bags containing the latest cosmetic gadgets and designer garments under their arms.
Already, the 2010 edition of the newest and greatest show in town is being eagerly awaiting by Scotland’s finer sex, which looks set to eclipse even all that it achieved in 2009.
